In order to understand your individual situation fully and give you the best possible treatment, the first session involves a full health consultation in which we will discuss all aspects of your health. This will include questions not just about your specific issue, but other signs and symptoms which can help in your diagnosis including sleep patterns, digestive health, hormonal issues etc. I will also look at your tongue and feel your pulses which give clues to what is happening inside your body. I will chat about treatment options and, assuming you are happy to go ahead, then you will have an acupuncture treatment at a later date.
Follow-up sessions usually last up to an hour, involving an update discussion on your health/symptoms before your individual treatment is decided and carried out.
