I believe it is my purpose to inspire women to take charge of their own health, to better understand what their bodies are communicating to them by way of signs and symptoms and understand that fertility is so much more than a baby.
Hello, this is where I introduce myself. My name is Cheryl O'Reilly and I am a practitioner of traditional Chinese acupuncture, a fertility and obstetric trained acupuncturist and a medically trained phlebotomist, specialising in the holistic management of women’s health, fertility and pregnancy.
I pursued my passion for Chinese medicine by studying for three years at the Northern College of Acupuncture, where I obtained my degree. Eager to expand my knowledge and expertise, I continued my education and delved into specialized areas of interest.
I recognised the large gap between conventional medicine and supporting wellness and I developed a unique style to natural fertility – integrating the western medical approach with alternative therapies, Chinese medicine and natural fertility methods. Now, over 90% of patients are fertility patients with many
of the women and couples whom I work with accessing acupuncture, diet and lifestyle advice to promote fertility and IVF success, with my role being one of support during what can be a confusing, anxious and stressful time. By specialising in the fields of fertility and IVF, I have become very knowledgeable in all
aspects of reproductive medicine, including the very latest medical advancements, such as natural killer cells and other reproductive immunology treatments.
I have devoted my time to the task of inspiring wellness, not only to those embarking on becoming parents, but equally important to educating young women of how their choices shape their reproductive health. I believe this is the key to addressing the infertility epidemic. For me, fertility is not just about babies, it’s about understanding health. I support both natural conception and IVF. Working with conditions such as 'unexplained' subfertility, secondary infertility, PCOS, endometriosis, male factor fertility, premature ovarian failure, premature menopause, miscarriage and recurrent miscarriage. I also works with contributing factors to infertility such as stress, poor diet, painful/irregular periods, pelvic pain and emotional factors. Tailor-made packages are provided to couples, single women and same sex couples to cover the weeks during the IVF protocol, as well as ICSI, IUI, PGD (pre-implantation genetic diagnosis), frozen embryo transfer and egg/sperm donation.
The Acupuncture Studio has now grown into a highly regarded clinic for acupuncture in fertility, pregnancy and postnatal care with patients
coming from throughout Lancashire. The clinic is known for its effective, results - driven treatments - in fertility and IVF support.
Come and work with me and invest in the benefits of acupuncture.
